Exterior Faux Finishing is very different from interior faux finishing.
Although the look and technique can be the same, the knowledge and
skill level are completely different as the finish is exposed to the sun and
the rain, thus durability, color fade, and adverse weather become vital
considerations.   I don't know if you've seen an exterior faux finish
fade to become something completely different in six months.   I have.
(not mine, by the way)  It takes more than being a good artist to do an
exterior faux finish, it takes a knowledge of a vast array of subjects.
